Founded in 2014, Tech Journos Forum (TJF) is a non-profit association of Nepalese journalists working in the field of ICT, telecommunications, and digital technology.

TJF brings together journalists from print, electronic, and digital media who cover Nepal’s rapidly evolving technology ecosystem.

Our Purpose

The Forum is committed to enhancing the professional capacity and in-depth knowledge of its members through training, knowledge-sharing initiatives, professional networking, media interactions, and discussions on emerging technology issues.

TJF aims to contribute to accurate, informed, and responsible technology journalism while fostering meaningful engagement among journalists, technology professionals, industry leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

TJF: A Journey Since 2014

Key milestones in TJF’s journey to strengthen professional capacity, knowledge, and technology journalism in Nepal.

  1. TJF Founded

    Tech Journos’ Forum was established as a professional association of journalists working in ICT and telecommunications.

  2. Capacity Building

    TJF expanded training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives for technology journalists.

  3. Growing Community

    TJF strengthened its network of journalists covering Nepal’s growing technology sector.

  4. Policy Roundtables

    TJF initiated policy roundtables to facilitate informed dialogue on technology and telecommunications issues.

  5. Digital Engagement

    TJF shifted its activities to digital platforms, continuing training and knowledge-sharing initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  6. ‘प्रविधि’ Annual Magazine

    TJF launched its annual ‘प्रविधि’ magazine, providing a platform for technology journalism, analysis, and knowledge sharing.
